- Attend an information session
Once you decide that volunteering for CASA of Monterey County is a good fit for you, the training process begins. It includes:
- An interview with our staff
- A completed written application
- A signed volunteer agreement
- Submission of the following documents:
- An FBI/DOJ and Megan's Law background check
- A DMV driving record printout
- Three positive references
- A statement of auto liability coverage
- Participation in our 30-hour comprehensive training program
